Services and Products
Lactation Counseling Services
Lili Beggs RN, IBCLC, Maggie Muir LMFT, IBCLC and Katie Milazzo IBCLC, provide lactation education and counseling. Lili is a Sutter perinatal nurse with 20 years of experience counseling breastfeeding mothers. Maggie is a licensed Marriage Family Counselor who has worked with parents of infants and young children through many roles: as a family counselor, breastfeeding counselor and postpartum doula. Katie provides bilingual support for Spanish and English speaking families. All are Board Certified Lactation Consultants.
Lactation Consultation
If you require special support with your breastfeeding needs, you can schedule a consultation appointment by calling the center at (831) 477-2229. There is a fee for this service. A bill will be provided to you for your insurance billing purposes.
New Parents Support Group
Drop-in support groups are offered to all new parents from birth to 9 months old. Support groups meet in the Sutter Room and are held as follows:
- Tuesday 10 to 11:30 a.m. - Babies 3 weeks - 3 months
- Thursday 10 to 11:30 a.m. - Babies 4-9 months
Postpartum Wellness Support Group
This group is for any mother with concerns about her well-being postpartum. If you have concerns about postpartum depression or anxiety, you can feel better! Come to this supportive and informative group as you navigate your way to wellness. Babies (newborn to one year) welcome. This group includes time for gentle stretching/relaxation and singing with the babies. Facilitated by Maggie Muir LMFT, IBCLC .

Breast Pump Rentals
Currently, Medela Classic and Symphony Lactina Pumps are available for rental. Both pumps have the capacity for double or single pumping. They are auto-cycling electric breast pumps. We can help you determine the best pump for your needs.

With a $10 annual membership fee, you can borrow books and videos from our library. Choose from a wide range of topics, including infant nutrition, infant behavior and development, safety and first aid, and special needs babies.
