The inpatient medical surgical unit consists of 18 private rooms. In an attempt to minimize the hospital atmosphere, equipment is stored behind a decorative wall unit in the room. Each room has a refrigerator which is stocked by our guest services department with drinks of your choice.

Staffing consists of an RN / CNA team approach to care. Every staff member is committed to provide quality patient centered care. Care is individualized for each patient through the use of a clinical pathway. Physicians and nurses work in a collaborative approach to individualize your plan of care & recovery.

We also have a unique program at Sutter, a Hospitalist program, which is a medical physician who is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to work with your physician as the need arises.

On staff is a discharge planner who is available to coordinate care after discharge.

• Pneumonia
• Cellulitis
